Rêfê-bënê Dêtîkè (/ˈrɘfɘ/ /ˈbënɘ/ [local] [tain; locomotive]) is a subtropical Town located in the Nëpimtrêsë Zone of the Union of Engineers.
The name Rêfê-bënê Dêtîkè is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Rêfê-bënê Dêtîkè was founded by Glêl Zegfênm, who was culturaly Iron Elven.
Climate
Rêfê-bënê Dêtîkè has a yearly average temperature of 24°C (75°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 27°C (80°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 21°C (69°F). Rêfê-bënê Dêtîkè receives an average of 251 cm/y (98 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Rêfê-bënê Dêtîkè covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 4320 m (14173 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Rêfê-bënê Dêtîkè was founded durring the early 12th century in winter of the year 1132, by Glêl Zegfênm. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Glêl Zegfênm.
Rêfê-bënê Dêtîkè was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Rêfê-bënê Dêtîkè is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Rêfê-bënê Dêtîkè is is constructed arround a series of narrow split-log ties mainstreets which form overlapping circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town has a defencive wall made from large clay bricks. The wall is constructed to the exact specifications of millitary fortifications, but the nature of its clay brick construction leaves it vulnerable to even outdated siege equipment. That said, the town is well defended against anything short of an army. The brittle defences have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.
Before you’ve even set foot into the heart of Rêfê-bënê Dêtîkè, you can smell it. The incense. It hangs about the town like a cloud. Monks, priests, and clerics are everywhere, all dedicated to the same divine, all performing the same rituals to bless and anoint buildings, streets, people, animals, you name it they are or have blessed it. The same holy symbol is everywhere too. Its on buildings, on people, and even branded into livestock. This certainly loves its divine. Asside form the revrent worship, you can see the citizens are preparing for something, and that something isn’t good. Weapons are worn openly. Defensive structures have been recently constructed to guard less used areas of the town. Merchants seem very eager to sell their wares at discount prices. Something is coming.
Civic Infrastructure
Rêfê-bënê Dêtîkè has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Rêfê-bënê Dêtîkè.

Rêfê-bënê Dêtîkè has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.

Rêfê-bënê Dêtîkè has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Rêfê-bënê Dêtîkè's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Rêfê-bënê Dêtîkè possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Rêfê-bënê Dêtîkè's grid is powered by an arcane means.
Rêfê-bënê Dêtîkè's old civil lighting system was converted to Galvanic Lamps recently, and expanded to provide nighttime illumination to all city streets.
Rêfê-bënê Dêtîkè has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.
Rêfê-bënê Dêtîkè has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Cultural Notes
Rêfê-bënê Dêtîkè's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its buildings being predominantly formed through the combination of basic geometric shapes. However, it shown in the detailing given to the structures such as its characteristic tall columns, intricate detail, symmetry, harmony, and balance in their designs to an astonishing degree of precision. Decorative elements for the buildings tended to be built into the structure itself, making great use of fluting, frescoes, inlays, and embossing.
In Rêfê-bënê Dêtîkè snow is warm to the touch and does not melt within city limits. Also it only happens during summer.
The Hamster, Giant near Rêfê-bënê Dêtîkè are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.
Rêfê-bënê Dêtîkè's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves embarking on a group pilgrimage to channel Illusion energies of tier 2 via moments of science.
